Four and a half groups of TA mains, applicants, and friends climbed the treacherous tubes of the Ssraeshza temple to the third floor -- where the Arch Lich and his cursed floor traps laid in waiting!

Dealing with the curses (both the floor trap variety and the Arch Lich's personal one) was as complicated as the final fight of this raid.

Moving through Ssra with no internal map is tricky -- But Jenuden eased our pain with his clever tactics. On each floor, he parked the Raid in the corner of each tube room and did some creative swimming to pull critters from the upper floors down one level to the melees and casters awaiting them below! This GREATLY reduced the pain and suffering of zoning up between floors when moving through Ssra! (Which can often lead to an errant death or two). We didn't lose ANYONE to aggro while moving to the third floor! WTG Jenuden!

Up on the third floor, Painin (our own TA Rogue) tried his best to keep the floor traps from detonating and draining every casters mana to nothing -- he succeeded for the most part, but at one point moving to the Arch Lich room, a trap detonated and my group was cursed with the hated Curse of Ssraeshza -- a horrible health and mana draining DOT. Luckily, we got this Greater curse removed in time before any in my group died -- but it did drain all their mana.

We waited in the corner of the Arch Lich room, regaining mana and watching the Mage pets go berserk and attack the Arch Lich... (until they were pocketed by the Mages in the Raid). Seagis blurrred the Arch Lich to reset his Rampage meter and we girded our loins for the assault!

Jenuden was MA, Zolo was SA, and Sincee was Rampage tank. Sincee and Trane ended up dying to the Rampage attacks over the course of this long DPS fight, but the Arch Lich finally died. Vezax endured Rampage hits, being 3rd in line, but did not succumb.

Good Kill, Fun Raid! When we lost a 2nd person to Rampage, the Arch Lich was still at 67 percent health and I started to get nervous! But the healers of the Raid kept everyone else alive, a fact of which I am very grateful (as I was one of them)!

Congratulations, Jenuden for your skillful leadership of this raid.

After this, I took a smaller group down to the basement to kill skeletons for Lucid Shards. We got 3 Shards to drop! No Green metal ore, unfortunately.
