If you need further rhyme or reason look to the net to find any nubmer of reasons why 4th Edition is a BETRAYAL to all that was DnD.

They are all True.

We ran a campaign, we had the books, we learned the rules, we made the little cards and everythign to make it easier, flow better, and play just as fun as before.

Nothing worked. It's rigid, it's cumbersome, and frankly it's NOT an RPG. It's a computerless (unless you buy the program) MMO or an advanced and complicated card game.

And that's not what gamers want.

So it's back to 3.5E for us.... Oh well

However we've been playing steadily so it's been fun. We've updated the room quite a bit with new shelves, new fridge, new wall decorations. I really need to get some new pictures up here to show it all off.

After our failed 4E experiment we all swore off 4E and went back to 3.5... Thank goodness.

Our HAUG meetings have been slow so we don't have a definate schedule at the moment and I'll send out info via email when we decide to get it rolling again for those who've given emails to me.

Aside from that, we're still here, things are good! And hope to see new faces over the next year!
